How We Choose What to Include

Recommendations consider these criteria and explain their limits:

    Say how to reach a site from the town and what a ticket or trip includes.

    Distinguish published opening hours and seasons from live availability.

    Cite factual claims and identify unsupported or uncertain details.

Where Our Data Comes From

Our recommendations synthesize multiple signal types. We prioritize signals in this order:

  1. 1. Ministry, museum and site operators

    Official opening hours, ticket prices and site descriptions

  2. 2. Municipalities and transport providers

    Local services, ferries, dolmuş and bus routes

  3. 3. Attributed reporting

    Published context with an identifiable source and date

Handling Uncertainty

When a source doesn't confirm a detail, the guide says so and points you to the official page to check. We'd rather be clear about what is published than guess.
